What is a Family Opportunity Center?
A Family Opportunity Center is a warm, welcoming place in the community where families can come for free support, resources, and fun. It’s designed especially for people raising kids—from birth through 18 years old—to have a place where you can:
Talk with other parents or caregivers
Let your children play or take part in fun activities
Socialize and meet new people as a whole family
Receive support and services at no cost
Just relax in a safe, friendly space
Everything we offer is completely free. We’re here to help families feel stronger, safer, and more connected.
Do I Qualify for Services?
Anyone who lives in Jefferson or St. Lawrence County and is raising a child from birth to 18 years old qualifies for services at the Family Opportunity Center.
