Client Stories
"I want to share that while I was in the hospital after giving birth, I was struggling a bit with breastfeeding, so I filled out the NCPPC referral form they gave me. Stephanie called me within a few days and we had a really nice conversation, and she shared some resources with me. Obviously she couldn’t come to my house (due to COVID-19), but just the phone call was truly very helpful, not only because she shared some concrete strategies but also because in a time as overwhelming and frustrating as right after giving birth and struggling with feeding your baby, she reassured me and helped me feel confident. Within a
few days, baby M and I got into the swing of things and breastfeeding continues to go very smoothly… just wanted to share my very positive experience!!"

“I have been a single mother since my kids were little. My
ex-husband was very abusive to me and the kids. I thought that was all that I was worth. Nobody has ever really helped me when they said they would. I would not be alive today if it was not for
Constance. She has changed my life and brought me back from a very dark place. She has taught me how to meal prep for my
diabetes, and exercise. Also, how to believe in myself and trust that I can do things on my own. I will forever be thankful to Constance for not only helping me change my life but saving it.”

“You guys are really supportive. You have gone above and beyond to be there in hard times. I get things from you about how the kids grow like the growth charts and what I can expect. You are a good support system that I can use. It's really good. Both of my kids really like it.”

“I wouldn’t know where to go for a lot of different things without my CHW”
