News – Press Release: NCPPC Named a Recipient of 2021 Stewart’s Holiday Match

(Watertown, NY) – The North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council, Inc. is happy to announce the receipt of a generous grant from Stewarts Shops. This grant was received as a part of the Stewart’s Holiday Match program. The Stewart’s Holiday Match Program takes money donated at the store by customers between Thanksgiving and Christmas and matches it dollar for dollar with money from the company; this year, the Holiday Match program raised over $1.88 million for non-profits. At NCPPC, these funds will allow us to provide car seats and car seat education to parents in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence County. Additionally, NCPPC will be able to provide resources and continued activities at the Gouverneur Activity and Learning Center. We want to thank Stewarts for choosing us to receive this donation and allowing us to provide support to North Country Families.
