The North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council, Inc. is seeking applicants for a temporary Health Insurance Navigator for Jefferson County. Successful candidates will assist consumers in applying for and enrolling in health

insurance through the New York State of Health Marketplace, which includes Marketplace Health Plans, Essential Plan, Child Health Plus, and Medicaid.


Qualifications: two plus years experience in NYS benefit programs or health insurance experience, or other related experience; associates degree in related field (appropriate work experience will be considered in lieu of

education); ability and strong desire to work with diverse socio-economic populations; ability to work independently; must have strong computer literacy abilities, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with exceptional

attention to detail. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
